Tinted tails

Well guys I need some opinions. Tinted the lights yesterday with Nighshades, Applied 2 coats. Are they dark enough or should I apply at least ome more coat? Keep in mind I am trying to avoid getting a ticket.

Your taillights look good.

Police give you tickets for tinted tails. I didn't know that.

I don't notice the tint........ on a red car you should leave them like that though, darker cars benefit better from this, light colors don't..

I cant tell the difference. I would go darker. I tinted my tails, but I notice that its fading. I plan a redo sometime soon.

When I sprayed my tint, it took about 6-7 coats, which didnt make it black, but very very dark, especially in shade. I would put on a few more coats and then cover it with clear coat.

I see a slight difference, mainly in the separation of the sectors of the lights. I'd say a few more coats.

Let it go at the current application. Black tails against the red body is a questionable combo.

i can tell they are tinted only because i know what the regular ones look like, but to a non 6th gen owner, "looks like yours" says my little bro. if you are going to tint the tails.. tint it.

I cant tell that theyre tinted at all. I think it would compliment the car since RED and BLACK go together. If my was in red, I would have done the same.

Why darken your lights? I'd rather brighten the lights so that everybody clearly sees me coming..... and going.

It makes no sense when cosmetics gets in the way of safety.

Hey maxi --- you use a spray can and paint over the orginal taillights to get the tint look... Your local auto shop will have several brands of it...

The G35 4 door sedan spoiler is used for this car. The WRX spoiler is basically the same shape as the G35 coupe, but larger. It bolts right on with 4 holes needing to be drilled. In my opinion, its is absolutely the best spoiler for this car.

I think the red tail on a red OP looks hot on it's own, why tint if it almost matches, tints look better on the darker rides IMO. But hey, your ride, your choice...
