grilles grilles grilles

has anyone bought their billet grill from ebay? what's the deal with those things? they are so cheap in cost but what about the quality?

I've been doing some product research for you guys and came across the ebay grill.

I got the E&G grill:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33645

Its a really badass grill. Good quality, chrome/mirror finish, fits PERFECTLY in the slots the OEM grill was attached to.

Hope this helps,

Opinions on polished/unpolished aftermarket grilles

Hi all, 04' SE Onyx with dpp and factory rims (non-chrome). I am looking into an aftermarket grille (finally) and I am debating between a Trenz or a 'Z' Grille. Does anyone have pics (or an opinion) of putting a polished (or chrome) aftermarket grille on a Max with the factory non-chrome wheels?

I found plenty of pics on this site but can't really tell if I like a polished/chrome grille with non-chrome rims. I am leaning towards a polished or chrome grille but I am not sure how that would look with the non-chrome rims.

Thanks in advance!

definitely do a polished grill if you're going to go aftermarket. in my opinion, I would paint the stock grill the body color, though. I think that's the best looking option so far as I have seen.

Thanks

I saw a couple grilles painted the body color that I did like, looks pretty sharp. I believe this is a 'Z' grille (or something similar):

Hi Boone: What kind of grille do you have on your Max? Where did you get it from? It looks very nice on black.

Thanks nyauto. Powdercoating is the only way to fly for a metal grill.

so it seems the next Maxima grille may be worth the wait, but how long is too long?

I noticed that also. Looks different than mine and does not flow as well. Seems like a gap at the bottom of the grill where mine fills it all.

Would the tooth look better if it was painted body color?

Just thought I'd ask since I was looking at one in the parking lot today. Maybe it wouldn't stand out as much if it were painted the color of the body.

I saw an S2-like grill for 04+ Max at the dealer. They wanted $400 painted. Anyone has seen or know where I can buy one since the Altima one cost $170 plus paint?

I would just wait for the active tuning one - it's almost finished and will probably be chaeper than what the dealer is trying to get.

That Trenz grille looks to much like the '00 lancer to me, but just a little bigger. I just dont like the style (not trying to knock on the fans, just not my thing)... see?

I have the same billet as carcus on my '04. I'm waiting to see AT's and then I'll most likely buy it. I like all their products to date even for the altimas

Can't buy one! That's one problem. I don't know how to weld plastic. That's another. Is Redop going in production?
