D2 coilovers.. who's interested??

i'm looking for people who's interested in a group deal on D2 coilovers. i just want to know how many people are interested in this so i could set up a group deal with nolimitmotorsport.com.

original price is $1020 shipped and if i have at least 2 other people on this deal, the price will drop to $970. more people we have on this deal, better price we'll have. if you want more info, you could pm me or call Rob @ 1-866-381-4618 from nolimitmotorsport.com. please don't hold me responsible for this group deal. i'm just gathering people so i could get a decent price. if someone could step up on this deal then it'll make my life much more easier(preparing for 6 month deployment).

thanx, peter

Hey guys,
I e-mailed Noah at D2 back and mentioned the site and the group of us that are interested. I asked if there's anything he could do on a group deal. Afterall they are the manufacturer and I mentioned it would be good marketing for him if we all ran his equipment on or cars...we'll see what happens!

The only reason Im not 100% yet is I have to get my body kit on and painted and I have to save up a bit for something like this. Then Im in for sure.

not to bust anyones bubble but the issue will be more so of how and when these things will be able to come in the country. I know for a fact that they are only getting like 7 sets in at a time, that's why the current group deal people have waited 2 to 3 months for their d2's. They will probably do the deal for you but you will wait months on the shipment

I don't know maybe, they are the manufacturer and they might feel like being nice and hook us up. Afterall it would be good for them marketing wise like I said before...we'll see.

Noah said he has 2 in stock only due to limted demand...Redmax you may be right who knows how long it could take to get more. Thanks for the info. Is there a thread for the current group deal people? I'd like to check it out.
Thanks,
J

I said I'll keep you updated and here is a update.. I'm trying to get a loan re-newed with my credit union. I thought by calling them early this morning that they will have an answer by late this afternoon, but didn't get one.. I'l have to wait till tomorrow..

trust me no one wants this more than I do.. I'm dying to get my car off the "stock" category.. so one more day my man, hopefully this will go my way and I won't let you or myself down..

are you talking about the D2 coilovers? if you are, it's a complete suspension kit. you remove the stock shocks/springs and replace it with the coilover set

Excuse my ignorance on the subject...but how do you set up these things..I mean if there's like 36 settings and damping, rebound blah blah...how does one know what performs best? Do you just have to cruise around and experiment with different settings?

you just answered your own question. drive around on different settings and see what fits your preference

cool
So..do you have an idea..since you're familiar with these coilovers...of what kind of setup you'll be using?
It seems the whole thing is adjusted with supplied tools for 'turning' something..but I guess if you have to experiment by driving..it's not really an EXACT science, if you know what I mean....
If you were to describe a setup to me would it sound something like: 2.5 turns in front and 1 for the back.....is that how adjustments are measured?

Thanks for explaining

I've been always interested in those D2 coilovers, but just thought it was so expensive... and unexperimented yet...

If you guys get this done, please let all of us know the exact details of good and bad. I know I trust the most from the org members than anyone else!
