Do we have starter-lockout?

Meaning when the car is already cranked and running, does the starter lock out so that you cannot accidently try to start the engine again?

I did it by accident (one of those embarrasing moments). It tried to start again making that loud scrapping noise.

So did I, but I have the remote starter to use as an excuse..LOL. It mnakes the scraping sounds, so I guess the answer is no.

Feeling that is the starter gear telling you hello. I have heard of teeth being broken off on older cars when they are started and you hit the ignition again. Than, with a broken tooth, starter would have a problem if it eventually hit that spot. Just my old American car experience....hey, we all have done it at least once.
