Foglights stopped working......
About two(2)months ago i had a foglight go out on the drivers side so i changed both of them just for the sake of changing them and they worked fine till last night now i have nothing? i checked both bulbs today and there fine i checked all fuses in car and under hood nothing blown what the hell is going on last thing im thinking is switch on turn signal stem but i never turned them off they were left on auto just like head lights has this happened to anyone else ? lemme know if this is common for a $30k+ car and whats funny about this is this weekend i was gonna try to rewire them to come on with the parking lights i guess they have a mind of their own

it was talked about before. those bulbs from nissan don't last long.. did you replace them with oem's again from nissan or an aftermarket kind? just to let other members get an idea of whats in there right now....

i put in stock 55w sylvanias and they worked fine for almost two months but now it might be a swithch problem? dont know how cause i never touch the switch but you never know with these new cars i leave it on auto with fogs on

You said you checked the bulbs and they looked fine. The fact they both 'went' at the same time might indicate something other than the bulbs. There are fuses in more than one place under the hood; some under the big plastic 'tent'. And, like you say, the switch could have gone bad.
I don't think I have seen another poster here with both fogs gone at once. If still under warranty, I would definitely have this fixed by the dealer. Might require a new switch or something.

Sylvania bulbs
As you all already know, the OEM FOG lights (Bulbs) are very low quality low life ( and not particularly nice) lights are Sylvania OEM ...probably OSRAM 64151CB UVS 55W 12V PK22S 10X10X1 .
The colour temp does not match or even do justice to the HID's. Well as you all know as per other older posts here, the replacement bulbs that are approved by Nissan are also made by Sylvania and happen to be H3ST Silverstars. There is a misprint in the SPEC the wattage should read 55 and not 65. These bulbs, which also come in sets of 2 and boxes of 100 when shipped to distis are 100% Spec'ed in replacements for those cheap OSRAMS! And any Nissan garage worth it's weight should offer to replace even working bulbs with this set and should include warranty against defects. These bulbs are certified including SAE and they are 100 replacement approved UPGRADES! They are high quality and long life and on top of that the light colour (4000k) they give off is indistinguishable from the HID's!
I don't need to remind you that the bulbs glass should never come in contact with your hands during installation of the bulb or you will shorten it's life span.
Any questions?

This is so funny I came across this thread...my car is at the Dealer right now waiting to have the fog lights worked on...both are out. The service manager is convinced both bulbs are burned out which I would think is almost impossible unless something was damaged and overloaded both bulbs. I would have noticed one bulb out. They definitely went out at the same time. I looked at the earlier thread on this and I see there is a fuse. I could have swore I looked the manual from front to back and also looked at the fuse boxes and I didn't see a foglight fuse. I may run over to the dealership first thing tomorrow and look for that fuse again before they touch my car. I have an extended warranty which would cover wire or switch damage but not bulbs. It concerns me that this guy was so eager to change those bulbs out. $150 to change the bulbs. They wouldn't change those bulbs out if they didn't need to right???...I'm going over there first thing tomorrow!
