Clock runs fast.
I"ve had my Max since Jan. and I wonder if anyone else noticed that their clock runs fast. Mine is 5 minutes fast every month. Is ther anything simple Nissan can do to fix it without tearing my car apart?

.......I've noticed this in my navi system, never had complaints about it though. I find it a bit comforting as a matter of fact. Actually makes me consider the time even more, especially when it comes to going to work.
Mine's only 3 minutes ahead of time though so nothing big

I think the faster we drive our Maximas the further ahead the clock gets!!!
Theory:
1 Minute per month = no problem
2-3 minutes a month = bit of led foot, just like taking out those civics!!!
4-5 minutes a month = simply loving to DRIVE the Max.
More than 5 minutes = you just want to see how much time you can add to your clock!!!!! (go burkjb!!!)
ps my clock is between 2-5 minutes per month...

Nice try, actually a clock in a moving vehicle will run slower than actual time, but who really cares time is what you make it not a number that some human came up with, that aside i think the people whose clocks are running fast need to drive their maximas more frequently...... vehicle clocks are probably designed to run slightly fast to keep them at "real time" with average usage
Just my $.02

My time machine is broken? I've hit triple digits more than once and the clock is still accurate. Man I got jipped with just a plain-superfast Max. I want to time travel too!

Easy fix and you don't even need to dismantle anything. If your clock is fast by 2 minutes monthly, in 30 months it will be fast by one hour. In that case, all you need to do is drive to another time zone and you will be ok!! Simple and expedient :-)

I'm not seeing this problem in my '05 but my '02 used to do the same thing. I ended up getting in to the habit of just resetting it every once in a while. Also, since it was getting faster, I didn't have to worry about being late.

i wonder if this problem is isolated to non-nav maxers?

My '04 SL clock must be close to accurate, as it seems to coincide nicely with the hourly beep on the radio station where I catch the news.
Of course, I reset the clock whenever the battery is disconnected for whatever reason, so I haven't had a really long stretch of months in which to measure the clock's accuracy.
