I would say no, they are slightly taller than stock brakes.

1000 OBO! Needs to go!
Although the 6th gens use the same sized oem rotors as the 05+ G/Zs, I don't think this kit is compatible with all the above. IMHO, it fits either just the 6th/5th (probably 4th and 3rd if that's true) or just the G/Z. Not both. FWD and RWD Nissan/Infinitis have traditionally different caliper mounting dimensions making swapping brake caliper inbetween the two impossible (unless you have a bbk bracket specifically made to do so)

Did you actually have this installed on your 6th gen?

Yes I did, and I assure you it fits all of the above. The alignment is the same the only thing that is different is the spindles themselves.

Can you detail what you did because in this post you said you had to space the caliper up 4.6mm I assume it was this kit you were referring to.

http://forums.maxima.org/6364589-post97.html

Did you modify the rotor or bracket in any way?

The problem ended up being that the bracket was cocking and I didn't notice. Took a mill or two off and everything fit. No spacers or anything else, just me thinking to hard and not looking at the obvious. It's a bolt on affair with just the brackets and calipers.

You shaved the rotor down a few mm? Because I was thinking of putting back on a G/Z.

No, I took it off the bracket. The rotors and calipers are untouched. I'll snap a pic sometime tomorrow.

I don't get it. How is shaving the bracket going to give you more room? i guess I need pics. But if you alterned the mounting dimensions, then it will no longer fit correctly on a Z or G. Which goes back to my original statement about the mounting differences inbetween the 6th gen and the G/Z.

Essentially, this is a 6th gen / Altima only bbk now right? Still a good deal though

No, it still fits a Z/G. I didn't alter the mounting holes. I'll post a pic later tonight to clarify. Basically the inner edge of the bracket was barely touching the spindle which cocked it when fully tightened.

The gray area in the first pic is the part that was removed. The second pic is a side view so you can see it doesn't effect alignment. The valley is just slightly deeper all the mounting holes are the same. It allows it to clear the slightly higher spindle on a Max/Altima.

hi, how do you think my non-ABS brake master cylinder 05 altima will support these calipers? they have problems pushing the se-r calipers - it is soft and to the floor.

If it means anything, I bought a whole bunch of suspension parts from this guy and they all came in nice and for a decent bargain, Easygoing good guy to deal with.
