Sounds like your pinouts are wrong. Remember you need to get a wiring diagram of the 350z ECU and one of the maxima and match up the pinouts. The way I did this was to make a chart with the things I needed IE what puppetmaster listed:

"Injector signal (for all cylinders)
Ignition signal (for all cylinders)
MAF
TPS
Knock
Power (probably ECM power)
Ground (probably ECM ground)"

then put a column for 350z pins and another for maxima pins, then write down which ones go to each. From there you can isolate the 350z pins/wires that are on the UTEC and connect those to the correct wires on the maxima harness/ECU.
