I just bought & installed a 2k1 MAF from DaveB on my 2k2. The funny thing was that I was already on my second 2k2 MAF since I had the original one warrantied through my dealer.
Installing the 2k1 MAF and removing and installing the resistor was easy. I used a utility knife to separate the metal clips holding the resistor, then used needle nose pliers to grab the resistor. Reverse the procedure when installing the resistor in the 2k1 MAF.
The car drives like new again with less hesitation and the low idle issue is almost gone (I think I need to clean my throttle body too). The CEL is off too which is great!
