i doubt it coming for the cat. did it just start? or have you always had this ?

Try a different brand of gas and see if that helps, you can also try to run a bottle of chevron thru system. I have the pinging also and it is very annoying.

IF anyone has any other possible solution i would liek to know also.

Also for OP, if it sound waste when your going up hill or if the car is under more load. It is definitly pinging.
