I just did this this weekend I dont have the block off plate yet but I removed the valve and the rod the valve was bolted to and plugged the hole shut and removed vacumm canister. I noticed the small loss in low end but the top end was awesome and it sounds mean as hell. I have only did a couple 70mph to 100mph runs because weather is bad right now but pulled very hard and I also have a auto.
