Irks me when people don't deal with that sort of problem. I can say, however, that a couple days ago when my headlights were totally iced over I did not bother to try and get the ice off. The projectors put out light just fine, I could be seen from a distance, and I wasn't trying to scrape or break ice off my $650 headlights
We're talking about snow, though
