offset for 24" wheels

How many people have 24's on a 6th gen? Id presume there probably only is a couple.
I dont really know, but for a 24" rim, your probably going to need to run a skinnier wheel to accomdate for the size.
For anyone to give you a proper idea for offset we would need rim width. Offset could range from +10 to +50 depending on the width and how you want it to sit

I was either going to get a 24x8.5 or a 24x9.5. I'm not quite sure yet with a 275/25/24 series tire. Let me know if anybody can give me any more info on the offsets. Thanks.
My 22's didn't really make the car any higher than what it was so I'm hoping that the 24's will do the same.

Here ya go. I don't know if you've seen this but this is a 6thGen on 24'S with air suspension. I guess it looks good if you're using the Max as a show car but on a daily basis I wouldn't recommend it.

Here's the Max from the Stillen meet with 24's, he's on air ride and plans to be on 26's soon. He's not on the boards anywhere though so not sure how to contact him. (I'll see him in May at Stillen again...) He did major fenderwell work, pretty much everything was cut out. We did talk about size offset etc...but I don;t remember what he said it was.

wow, that's pretty bad (not the good kind of bad, either). I guess the "Drift" sticker represents what happens when he brakes. Even a 15" BBK would look puny, but at least he'd be able to stop- that setup is just dangerous. Those rims would look sweet on an Escalade though. Wasn't there a green 6th gen pic on here with 30's? Maybe they were 24's also IDK.

oh and as for the 'he should have gone cross drilled' argument, the drilled holes actually reduces the thermal capacity of the discs and served as a very effective "stress raiser" significantly decreasing disc life. Improvements in friction materials have pretty much made the drilled rotor a thing of the past. Also most 'racing' rotors currently feature a series of tangential slots or channels that serve the same purpose without the attendant disadvantages. just to...let you know.

24's with a high offset should fit with little mods, lift front strut plate, take out some plastic in front, roll rear fenders, do a little metal shaving in the front wheel well, and coil spring lifters in front and back. I only had minimal rub in front then it stopped. I can do three point turns with no problem and thats with 24x 9.5 wide with 275/25/24, with an offset of +35. I had no problems at all.
