u can take that rubber cover off from the maf harness and pull the each wire going to the maf and u will find ur lose connection....i had the same problem and i jus went to the JY and cut the maf harness from GXE ( i have VE ) and hooked it up..since then never got any problems.....i hope dat helps bud....gud luck...
