he meant cranking the engine over a whole bunch (which does simultaneous injection... lots of fuel for startup) and having a problem keep it from starting. if you then quickly fix that problem (for example, forgot to plug a harness back in that was needed for you to make spark) and go back to start it, all that no-spark cranking will have put a lot of gas into the cylinders... hence why you floor the pedal to start it in that condition, cuz you already have gas a-plenty in the cylinders.

he's checked all the harness connectors..... but what about grounds?
