TEST:
Try unplugging first..(engine will not rev over 2000rpm with it unplugged) see if it will idle/rev ok with it unplugged(trying to diagnose a bad maf here)
If idle/rev ok with unplugged, shut car off, plug back in, restart,let us know...Check the maf connector for corrosion and/or loose connection first!!
