video will be good. again, i don't have coils like you, so i can't say for sure. but i saw nothing in the FSM (shop manual) that would cause me to think that bad coils, whether one, some, or all, could cause the tachometer to read zero when the car is moving in-gear. That's why i keep bringing up the cam pos sensor as my opinion of what is wrong.

don't get me wrong-- if the coils are cracked, DEFINITELY try and fix them or replace them. I just personally think there's more to your problem than that.
