Yeah, he got that through OEM surplus. They only have the trans for the VE now. They don't have the VG (RE4F02A) trans.
Found Phoenix Transmission and they have rebuilds listed for $895 and they have a couple on Ebay for $695. Looked them up through the BBB and they seem to have a decent rep. Plus they are only a few miles from me. Their website is
