I would try to repalce the O2 sensor in question first.

i also noticed smoke coming from the headers on the right side of my engine bay (this would be your front facing headers) after revving the motor. it was a decent amount of smoke but it did not smell liek fuel....   |

So basically, your car idles fine in gear, but dies in neutral or park? Ok and also, it’s tachometer, not odometer.
First things first, do you have any SES lights on? If so, get the codes read from your local auto parts store (Autozone, etc). Could be a vacuum leak, but a code would help.
