It's not that I won't let myself see your point I've done my research and it seems to hold up. However if you don't want a fight neither do I.

So far the only part I really have had problems with is my oil catch can, hose sizes are incompatible with stock PVC system. I may have been better off using the org recommended 100% home depot parts version. However if I can't find what I need I'll remove the pieces the fittings are mounted to and drill my own holes, tap them and buy new tubing and fittings...I could even make the fittings if I want....you know this gives me an idea....custom fittings would be easy for me once I get back into school in august. Just need to measure the stock threads with a thread gauge and micrometer and I could probably pop 2 aluminum fittings out of the lathe in a matter of hours. Though yes, probably could have save $10 or so doing it the org recommended way. Though I like the way mine looks more and I've heard that synthetic oil can eat away at the home depot OCC from reading off the org so I may be saving myself some money.

I might agree with turbo rebuilds costing more if I planned on paying for labor. I've found some rebuild kits for reference. Costs about $100 for a rebuild kit. Pay $100 (random number) for a junk turbo and you've got a $200 Garrett GT25 turbo which is significantly less than a $2000 brand new HKS of I believe similar size.
