I didn't cut or modify anything. The CAI requires a bit of cutting and while I have 5 years of experience with tin snips but I didn't want to do the work nor have to deal with worrying about driving when my street is flooded. I remember one time flooding got so bad that my friend was going to pick me up to go out to eat some chicken wings and he parked his car at the end of the road, walked in almost knee deep water and then we walked back to his car. If it can get knee deep once, it can get a couple inches fairly regularly. So I just got a basic short ram setup all I needed that wasn't in the intake kit was a cap for an extra bung, some hose clamps and a single coupler. All of which can be found at home depot and autozone.

So really it was bolt on, not fab on.
