So to answer the conditions of the rotors they were new Brembo blanks- I did not have them turned before installing - I'm not sure if that could be the source of my problems. Should I perhaps turn my rotors to see if that addresses the problem?

I don't believe I have those shims- should I have got those with my HPS pads or bought them separately? The pads seem to hold into the clips with relative ease- I checked each little tab on the clips and they all looked fine (however I'm not sure exactly what I'm looking for if they were failing)

I can't yet say I regret buying these pads since I'm not sure if what is causing the noise is my fault.

So did you eventually just burn them and go with something else? If so, what did you buy? I get so upset some days I'm tempted to just trade the car in for something a bit quieter.
