Well here is the procedure I use which have not failed me yet.
When the pads are taken out of the box, I rub them together for a good 10 seconds to score them. Clean the rotors with rubbing alcohol to remove the grease. Thick layer of anti-squeal on the pad's backing as well the pad holder. Torque the torque member to 80 ft lbs and caliper 25 ft lbs. Then bed in process follows.
