Got a bad scratch!

It looks like someone keyed an underline under the back 'maxima' and 'se' letters!

Any good ideas on the best way to clean it up? I have a Majestic Blue 2k2.

HELP!

lol....he obviously copied it from another post.... probably my old one where I copied it from their website.

That stuff works wonders as long as it is not all the way through to the metal. Surface scratches and rock chips- GONE.

Does it permanently fix the problem or does it wash away the next time you wash your car? I was thinking about using this product for my Max.

Where to find it....

Is this something you can get at Walmart or an auto parts store? Thanks in advance!

Can you the scratch catch your fingernail when you rub it? If so, it would be too deep to consider using a rubbing compound on. If the scratch lightly catches or cannot catch it, you can use a rubbing compound on it to get it out. Many peeps use Meguiar's Scratch X or 3M's Finesse It II.

It doesn't wash away unless you scrub the hell out of it. I was really skeptical, but for $6, I said why not. Yes, Mal Mart has them.

Worked like a charm for my white car. I don't know about black, etc....

From my experience, Maguiar's Scratch X does hide the scratch(es) but next time you wash your car, the scratch(es) reappear again. It's something you have to apply every time your wash/wax your car.

I think I'll try the Color Cure stuff....

I am not the slightest bit surprised. But I am not too far off from your required standard of cleanliness........

BTW- Not too impressed with the Target Auto section. Not a great selection. Pep Boys rocks....
