Normal A/T temps

Anyone hooked up a gauge to see what normal operating temps are for our auto trans? Have heard these cars tend to beat up the ATF.

Doubt anyone has, but I imagine it closely resembles engine temp (minus hard driving). I didn't find any documentation stating normal operating range.

If you want to log the V:

I spent a fair amount of time trying to find a way to access the trans temperature via OBDII, but wasn't successful.

I was hoping to compare my trans temps before and after switching to Amsoil.

It would be great if those PID's were accessible through OBDII.

Just splice the wire and plug it into a spreadsheet WRT voltage. I did that with my ECT's back when.

This dash is all raw sensor outputs converted to whatever the FSM had as it's range vs value. Just depends on the sensor output, whether it was speed (Hz) or voltage (0-5/0-2,5v).
