Quick Struts - - - Monroe ???

Hey Buds,

Wanted your opinion on these.
http://www.globalindustrial.com/g/ve...emblies-104249

Monroe Quick Struts.
They are at Pep boys f/ $120 each
The Model is "spectrum."

I know they are not KY's, but the problem with KY's is that they don't sell a QUICK STRUT kit (apparently)...AND my mechanic doesn't want to get involved with rebuilding the Strut Assembly (maybe i should get a new mechanic...?)

But my Mechanic will only charge me $30 per side to put the Quick Struts in.
  • Your Thoughts.....Opinions ?
Thanks very Much!

They suck, but they work.
Better than blown struts any day and the price is reasonable for it having everything ready to mount.
Just don't expect a ton of miles out of them IMHO.

You really should check out the suspension thread.

I got 2 front Monroe Sensatracs quick struts about 6 months ago. Very happy with them and they get my full recommendation. Very nice ride and while hesitant to buy them, I've been impressed.
