01 Max E-brake loose

The e-brakes on 01" maxima it extremely loose and hell it doesn't even seem to be function when I put the brakes up. It feels like the belt broke or something.

Does it seem need a new belt or?

Either the brake line is snapped or snagged, or it just needs to be tightened. When you pull up the e brake, there should be a hole where you can insert a 10mm socket on an extension to tighten.

^^^I agree, try to tighten first as stated above. If you do more investigation and find you need to replace the cables I would recommend OEM. From personal experience I used Dorman brand the first time and they locked up after and year and were not the correct length. The OEM lines I have on now are perfect. Also make sure your rear brakes are not locked up.
