2001 A/C Issue

I have an "01" My a/c is blowing hot because my ambient temp. sensor is reading -22 degrees. I've replaced the sensor as well as the Auto A/c amplifier that reads the sensor info, and the in-car control module has been tested with a second unit. All checks out through the a/c self diagnosis as OK except for the AMB temp. of -22. Anyone know where the problem could be coming from, Or have come across this problem before? NEED HELP THANKS
