Anyone using ELM wifi OBDII

I got an ELM OBDII wifi module for the Max and have had fun playing with it. Anyone else running one? If so, maybe we can discuss a few things in the settings. Other than that I'd recommend one in a heartbeat, much cheaper ($20 eBay) than a generic scan tool and MUCH more info and even live data (loggable too)... I also have DashCommand running in iOS.

There is a long thread on this BT device in combination with an Android app -- Car Gauge if you haven't seen it. The developer of the app has built in timing advance, cylinder shut down, idle reset and a few other goodies. Torque is another good app but doesn't have the same controls.

I got one, the wireless ELM. I also have the entire ScanXL Pro (includes DashCommand and a ton of other things)
When logging from ScanXL I found the data to be inaccurate and just plain stupid at times, something you may want to consider. Seems like the whole ScanXL works much better on newer cars. But then it also depends on what ELM you have and how fast it can read data, my old ELM was older and way slower plus I was logging 50 different things at once which probably didn't help.
Instead of the ScanXL + laptop setup I now use Torque app which hooks up right to the phone and I can just have it on at any time with the phone.
Sometimes I turn it on just to make sure my timing is still at 17.

Luckily, the ScanXL Pro was a gift, sure glad I didn't pay for that. Like I said it just doesn't work well on older cars, so not the best option for us 5th gens. But I use it on the 7th gen, and it works perfectly, and has a whole lot more features and PID's available for the 7th gen and other new cars.
