Quick Exhaust Related Question 2000 Canadian Maxima in NY

My Girlfriends 2000 Maxima was originally from Canada. The exhaust that is on the car is rotted out and leaking so I want to replace it and quiet down the car. My only issue is I am not sure if her car would be a Cali spec or Fed spec. I would assume that it is a Fed spec but I would like somebody to share their knowledge. Thanks

look underneath by the Y pipe...if there's an O2 sensor after the Y then it's a fed spec

Alternatively, pop the hood and count the O2 sensors plugs, if you count 3, then it's Fed. 4= Cali. But the Y pipe area is the easiest way to tell.

edit - here's mine...the FED spec :

from what I remember, it has (3) oxygen sensors. I'd look under the car, but the previous owner cobbed the exhaust system soooo bad... every 8-10" there is another pipe welded on and rusted/leaking...

Look anyway..it's pretty easy to tell if there's an O2 sensor after the main cat or not. See my picture I posted in the edit above

Ill check it out tonight.

On a side note I found an exhaust from a 2000 I30 locally that the person is selling for $40.
