What do you guys think about using BOSCH Part # 13504 Fed. spec upstream o2 sensor in a Cali. spec car for both front and rear banks?
The reason I ask is I tried soldering an extension and the silver o2 wire wasn't taking solder at all, the copper wire I used didn't seem to help either. Then I tried crimp connections and they didn't seem to work either.
The car has 145k on it so I figure it's time for new sensors anyway. This one claims to be 76" long and would obviously remove any headaches if it is compatible. It's also only $60.79 at Rock Auto.
If not I was considering just getting stock new o2 sensors and cutting the harness wrap back some like I've read around here.

they are not interchangeable, you need to look under the hood decal where the emission label is and it will say if it's a Fed Spec or CA spec. Additionally you have to know which O2 sensor you're replacing since there are four of them, bank one sensor one, bank two, sensor sensor one, which is before the cat, or as they call it downstream. and there's bank one sensor two which is after the cat converter, which is know as upstream, same with bank two sensor two.

Fed spec and Cali spec are not the same sensor for bank 2.
Bank 1 is the same for both
Bank 1, sensor 1 (upstream)
