Maybe I got the part wrong... I will confirm. Usually it's something located on the pedal but our cars are different.

U prolly need a new throttle body or pedal id bet the throtle body though, that controls the idle in ur 2002

Well, it's located on the throttle body so I'd have to buy the whole part anyways. I might as well, I'll pull the code once I get back home but most likely.

Also the clutch sticks to the floor lol, I think it has a air leak.

I'm getting a price of 600 bucks for it, I just need the throttle body, someone post a link from a good website to buy from? and do I need oem or aftermarket?

I need a new cat, I was thinking of removing the cat and adding a resignator, what's the cheapest method at doing this while keeping the noise down to a minimum without the cat?

Ok, 420 and 430. Those are pre cats. Not the main cat. Our cars dont even know if/when they have a main cat.

Resoantor wont do you any good.

Thanks, I'm debating buying only the switch vs the refurbished tb and swith? Isn't it possible to just clean the throttle body without having to change it?

Also, I want to get rid of the cat, it's factory and never been changed, what's the cheapest way to do this while limiting the noise? My mechanic says take it to a muffler shop, remove it and install a resognator but someone on here told me that's a bad idea.

If your car is an 2002, then yes, the TPS/APPS will definitely throw you a code. And it would go into limp mode of the voltages aren't within a certain range of each other and you wont be able to break 5 MPH.

Also, not sure why you want to do the test pipe. I've seen cats las a long time. It' more so your pre-cats that will cause problems.

Under 1, it also stutters slightly. What's the official name for the pre cats on the MA in a? I'm gonna order them and the throttle body.

Under the 1 on the tach is just under 1,000 RPM's.
It should idle at around 700, is that where it's at?
I'd be looking at the stutter (misfire?) before you change anything idle related.

How do I address the misfire? Check the ignition coils? I bought the TPS already, it's on the way soon.
