2000 nissan maxima choking out warm...?

I have a 2000 nissan maxima with roughly 290,000 miles on it. I can start it and it runs just fine till it's driven hard then shut off.. at that point I have enough time to start it, back out of my parking spot, shift to drive, then it starts trying to choke out. Occasionally I can save it and feather the gas and continue driving... other times I can't. I have to sit there trying to re-start the car over and over till it will hold a idle then once I drive a block or 2 it will run and idle just fine.

Finally after 1 1/2 weeks and 500 miles driven it threw a code and put up the check engine light. misfire on cylender 3. I changed the "transmission speed sensor" and had to re plug in my air intake temp sensor. so i erased those codes and they haven't come back up yet. that was a week and a half ago. today it threw the code for the misfire. lmfao. I swear she is temperamental sometimes. I have no clue when the last tune up was done I bought the car used. only smokes on a cold day. more along the lines of the same as seeing your own breath kinda thing...
