Help Brake issue!

Replaced my rear calipers after they froze and I cannot get the passenger rear to stay pumped up. (rear drivers side works fine) bleeding brakes per FSM and the procedure on shiftice... It's not rocket science but I am out of ideas. If my helper pumps it up, I bleed it(no more air coming out) but the piston retracts all the way back. If I just have him push the pedal to the floor the piston will extend out until it touches and if I do nothing and he lets up it again retracts all the way back in... So there is no more air coming out but the piston will not stay pumped up. Ideas?? Possible bad reman caliper??

You remove the cap off the brake Reservoir?make sure you pump and then hold atleast 15x before cracking the bleeder open and make sure your helper dont take his foot off the pedal.easy way is get a vacuum bleeder from harbor freight for $20.

Everything is on right, just triple checked... I can get ahold of a power bleeder tomorrow to try that... any other ideas?

also yes, cap is off of master cylinder... bad abs or master cylinder? No problems before changing the calipers other than they were mostly stuck. Bleed master cylinder?

I also have an annnoying clunk, vaguely from that area and I can feel it in the floor pan too. The passenger mount looks squished just like the photos in your link. If its isn't supposed to look like that then great, you've found my clunk!

Bottom mounts, visually, seem fine to me and I've done the test for them suggested elsewhere in the forum - the engine lifted an inch or two which seems reasonable. Ball joints seem OK. Anti-roll bar links have a little play but the clunking is more solid than that noise that would be. Basically I'm still not convinced I've determined what the problem is.
I can see myself spending a load of time and cash replacing bits until the problem goes away.

Stop thinking so hard about it if you didnt have the problem before why would you know and you did screw the piston in right! You didnt press it in and the e brake cable was disconnected too right!

Talked with RockAuto and they refunding my money and I am getting another one (A1 Cardone). Should fix the problem. I'll check back in when i get the new caliper. And yes i disconnected the e-brake cable and actually never pushed the old pistons in just pulled the old calipers right off. The new (reman) calipers come with the piston all the way in no need to push/turn them at all.
