I am looking for the actual size of the bulb needed to replace rear back-up lights........It appears to be a bulb larger than a wedge but exact size is not known....

Someone out their had a Sterling Mist with Blue backups at the Broward Mall (Fl) last weekend....nice !!!

Stock is a KOITO 912 which is 12V and 13watt bulb.

I replaced mine with a Sylvania 921LL 15watts from Autozone. It's white and brighter than stock to compensate for my tint at night.

careful...

careful about getting the right bulb, tho. i had a friend of mine get me one at Autodynamic's store and he came back with a bulb the same size as the brake lights... TOO FAT. it's the one right in between the 194 small wedgies and the big break fatties. they should be numbered as "921" according to Autooptiks.

search around. if you search, you will find.

yo my dude, I don't know how it's on here but on most forums it's frowned upon to bump a 10+ year old thread.

frowns be damned then.
threads are forever if it helps someone searching for it later on then why not.

Amazon Amazon

i'm using this bulb on the passenger side hit helps a TON when parking and you have tinted windows.

those led ones aren't even close to being as bright.
