Double din install kit
wiring harness

I agree. I used Crutchfield when I installed my Alpine. Great folks and the site will tell you everything you need.

yea ! they are amazing ! i literally had my dash ripped apart, and half of the bose amp converter wires wired, and got in a snag with how it all came to gether, called, and literally in the middle of the install the phone rep helped me figure it out over the phone. i was actually suprized there was that detailed level of help available, if it wasn't for crutch field i could not have installed my self.

oh yea i have an Alpine too!, don't think i would consider another car stereo brand.

I cannot remember how many times I've replaced the stereo in my '00. I am very picky about it.

There are no part numbers (that I know of) since what you're referencing are aftermarket parts. Also I am not sure if your '01 has the steering wheel controls. I believe that wasn't a feature until 2002, but I could be wrong. Nonetheless, your aftermarket stereo should be compatable with steering wheel controls. Check ebay for an aftermarket double-DIN stereo kit. Should include the double-din adapter and diversity antenna adapter. Feel free to PM me if you have particular questions. I can be a wealth of information on this subject.
