If it wont physically mount to the block, check your clutch alignment.

And the reason I asked about the mount in my previous post is because I had to make spacers one time for the tranny mount for a friend. The mount was from advance auto and the part with the 4 bolts that hold the tranny was alot slimmer than stock. So the bolts would bottom out while there was like a 1 1/2" gap between the tranny and mount.

I see what you're saying, and now some other arguments I have gotten into on the forums make a lot more sense. I know that basically everything can be derived mathematically, and I was just trying to achieve desired outcomes based on theories derived from these equations. But, like you said, elementary equations do not exist when talking about fluid dynamics. Based on what you have said, I have definitely changed my goals in what I'm trying to accomplish. Instead of trying to induce some sort of vortex through the intake tube, I think just creating a more efficient inlet for the throttle body could improve and stabilize intake air and sort of direct it into the top/bottom sides of the elbow to the intake runners. Long story short, and I hope I understood what you're saying correctly, I would greatly appreciate some resources to guide me into the right direction of the concepts that I am looking for.
