Both great units with solid reviews. I looked at both recently. The only thing that pointed me in a different direction was that they only had a front USB connection. There is no rear tethered USB cord. I didn't like the idea of a USB sticking out of the front all the time but that's just me.

Check out Crutchfield/Sonicelectronix they'll tell you what you need for accessories to connect properly. If the non BOSE is double DIN then this will fit.

You're going to overpay regardless of what model you get if you buy it at BB. Sonicelectronix has good prices and ships free to the US.

The kappas in my signature were 225/pair at BB and I got them from sonic for 75.

I wish Pioneer would integrate the satelite radio into the head unit instead of making you pay $100 for the extra part.

Do not shop at BestBuy unless you like paying extra. If you are willing to look elsewear, you can get the Pioneer AVH-p4400bh for ~$399.00, which although functionally similar to the units you posted, but has a larger screen, looks cleaner, etc.

You just gotta look for the right deals at the right time. Just picked mine up the other day on eBay for $399 shipped from a reputable seller. I've seen them go for ~$399 on Amazon.com as well. As others have been saying, Crutchfield and/or SonixElectronix will also tell you what you need to install everything properly. If money isn't a concern to you, just go ahead and spend the extra money with Crutchfield instead of BestBuy. At least Crutchfield throws in all of your installation gear with your purchase (I'm not too sure about SonixElectronix though...)
