BRM has been around for a while and makes exhausts for many model Nissan's. I believe they use Magnaflow for their mufflers and resonators, and you can choose between single or dual outlet, stainless or aluminized steel.

Cattman worth the wait...trust me! I get compliments ALL the time on how it sounds. Its high quality materials with a nice size resonator so you dont get annoying droning.

those youtube clips were posted somewhere here on the org too. I'd go with BRM if i didn't have my cattman. Plus it's impossible to get the cattman's right now. I think it's a no brainer. Get it.

Unles you like drone and are ok with 'ok' parts, get the Cattman. If you can't wait and can tolerate some disappointment in noise, drone, and quality, get something else.

I don't even have to click those links to know there mine. I'm sure I'm the only one with the 3" BRM. It honestly sounds great after I put the 3" testpipe and gutted the cats. Noise wise, it's a 3"...either pay for no drone or put up with it a little and save a bit of money. Wonder what it will sound like after I add the new OBX headers.

I have been waiting for you to add headers so I know which way I am going. I have cattman headers and i will be looking for an catback soon and I too dont want to have to wait 3months for one when I am ready. The only thing is that BRM uses a smaller resonator than Cattman. So I dont know if that makes a huge difference but I def want a 3" no matter what.

If I ain't have cattman...I would def get BRM exhaust...I wouldn't wait. The only reason i got my first cattman is because a guy I know was selling one not to far from me so i drove and picked it up. The second cattman 3" I currently have came on the car I bought.so if it wasn't for me gettin lucky twice...I wouldn't wait.

You are adding the Resonator yourself. If I go this route I have to pay someone hence therefore it would be more expensive to go this route.

Just for your information. I have OBX headers, 2.5 testpipe and Cattman 3". When i was automatic it was droning the **** out of my driving experience during highway cruise speeds unless i turned OD off to get higher rpms. from 2.5k-3 it was loud as hell. Now that i'm 5spd highway cruising is usually at 3k and there is no sound.

The is very comparable to mine, the only solution is a large resonator or the muffler that has the flap inside of it.

SERIOUSLY, STOP B!TCHING AND GET A 3". ON A GOOD NOTE THIS EXHAUST WAS A TAD UNDERRATED IN DIAMETER, ITS A BIT BIGGER THAN 3".

It is pretty loud, in fact. Thinking of getting a longer resonator to delete the test pipe to help mellow it out more...but it isn't raspy.

(the custom work was done for another member up in MN, I bought it from him)

Uhhhhhh Cattman's exhaust drones, have you ever cruised with the car between 2100-2600rpm? Does it on all Maximas, there's threads and videos of it.

Drone can be minimized with the right kind of muffler...something more restrictive.

I dont know man. It really doesnt sound like that to me. Either I'm not paying attention, which I think I am, or the exhaust sounds different to me. I have the cattman cat converter (dont know how much a difference tha makes). Also dont know if the fact the the entire exhaust is ceramic coated on both sides makes a difference either. I can still have conversations with people on my cell phone when Im cruising on the highway without them even knowing that Im in the car (unless I floor it and get around 4k and up rpms). Maybe it does drone.....I just dont know....lol. I know it sounds sexy as hell though!
