Need some input on obx headers/warpspeed y pipe
I'm trying to decide weather i should buy a warpspeed y pipe, or obx headers(when they are available). which would be the best route to take? Pre cats has been gutted for some time now, and I'm after some more power. Still haven't figured out the slight loss in performance yet, but anyhow. Opinions appreciated.

Aftermarket y-pipe and gutted pre-cats are a good combination, and a great sound. I have no regrets. But if I were in a position to start over, I'd get headers. The evidence seems pretty irrefutable that headers > y-pipe + gutted cats on the 3.5.
Get the headers.
Get the headers.

Ypipe requires no 02 sensor modification or widebands, etc.
Headers requrie working with the 02s or wideband to alleviate Catalitic converter codes.
This means headers will cost more than the advertised price, youll also need to purchase some wideband components probably, or at the least, tinker with it to get rid of the codes and crappy fuel mileage/over fuelling you'll get.
Seeing as you already have gutted cats though, I assume you've already addressed this problem? If so, then you should be buying headers.

Headers, but as stated above remember to figure in cost of O2 sim to get legal(if state regulated) and the cost or time of install.
You're usually looking at $700+ with headers installed(not including O2sim and install) but the performance gains are proven and very enjoyable.

I say just wait for the Headers to be available...are you still on those 22s, cause there is power with smaller and lighter and you will fell the pull more...I should know had 20s then went to 18s dropped about 16-18lbs per corner.....

Naw had the stockers back on for a while. As for the Cel I took care of that with Anti Foulers. Any updates on when there will be more OBX headers? And as far as the install go I will be doing it myself. For tuning i'll probably end up getting a SAfC, Would prefer a neo, but i'm not sure i'll be able to tune my LRMAF when ever i do my custom SRI.

Stockers are horrifically heavy. They weigh as much as my MMEV5's when I had them (~52#'s/corner w/245-45-18's, and my 17's have 235-45's on them). And we all know the nick name for the EV5's was boat anchor bandwagons.
My LW 17's 17x8 w/245-45's are 38.5#'s/corner, which, by comparison, weigh as much as my 4th gen 15x6" wrapped in 205-65-15's honeycombs.
The only thing the OE SE's have going for them is 17" dia. (rotational mass).
