which one are you guys using? since i am off till nov 7 i want to get all the issues with the car sorted out before i start work...

anyone use this kit? got some good reviews on amazon..

Looks like a solid kit since it has a sealant. You need that to keep the headlights from re-oxidizing.

I tried the 3M kit and it worked great, but the headlights started oxidizing within a few months.

I recently used this one and I'm happy with the results.

I'm with you 3m works great but it will get slight hazy again in about 6 months. I've used the same kit twice on the Max, once on a friends car, and once on my daily just last night. I pretty much have gone through most of the pads. I will probably uses it two more times to touch up 2 other cars, which have light hazing. But overall getting 6 jobs out of it was worth less than $20 spent on the kit.

I usually just use Brasso, lightly sand if I have to, polish and wax but I've heard nothing but good about the 3M kit. The trick to keeping the headlghts clean after using any kit that doesn't come with some sort of UV sealant is to wax the headlights when you wash the car.

Have a body shop do it for you imo. This is coming from personally having done multiple headlights as a side job.

Have the headlights sanded and then have them spray clear on them.

Now, keep em clean by waxing your headlights when you wash the car.

I just did this 3 or 4 weeks ago, and I used the Lite Rite product spoken so highly of. I paid less than $30 from a Ryder Fleet website. It came with the sandpaper, the sealant, a couple rubber gloves, two alcohol wipes, some lint free cloths, and some very well written instructions. There is also a video on their website of someone doing this procedure, so there really should be no questions. I am also very pleased with the results. They do indeed look brand new. I don't notice a difference in the brightness of my headlights at night though. Im not sure if its meant to help that or not. I did it purely for aesthetics.

We use BG's kit that my dealer. Work great and last for at least 2 years or so!
