is compatible with the 3rd and 4th gen clutch kits... so.. 5th gen guys in need of clutches don't have to bother with the Centerforce.. ACT's kits will work.

Just curious for future reference...I'm hard on clutches

Always go aftermarket...cheaper and better.
Centerforce Dual Friction clutch stood up to alot of abuse for me and at under $225 it's a bargain.

Is that price a whole kit or just the clutch plate?

I have the ACT in my car now, I posted a while ago that I bought a new clutch for the 2000 Max and sent it to ACT and they matched it up with the 4th gen clutch. I have had it for about 5K mile and it works wonderful. So to answer the question yes the 4th gen ACT clutch will work on the 5th gen but the 5th gen will not work on the 4th gen.
And the pressure plate on the 5th gen stronger than the 4th gens.
