Factory remote auto window drop
I'm sure most of you may already know this but most if not all of the 4th and 5th gen max's factory remote unlock button if held for 5 seconds or more can also be used to drop all 4 windows on the 4th gens and the 5.5's drop the two fronts...It's a nice option when its 80 plus degrees out and you want toe let the heat escape before you walk out of your house. My car if you hold the unlock it drops the windows like 5 inches and if you let go and press it again they go down all the way.

you can always use this mod to roll the windows up.i had it on my previous 03 and it worked like a factory piece with the OE key fob.

Also, my 4th gen remote only worked on my front windows, not my rear windows. On that car, it did roll the windows down with one try.

How was it that Nissan did this for the 4th gen, skipped over the 5th and then to the 5.5 gen? That sucks... If there's no trick to make it work for the 5th gen I was looking at a Viper alarm that has the window feature. I might go that route as an alternative.

RE: 5th gen junkie
this does work for the OE key fob please check the website again and read the directions!
The window roll-up module easily installs inside your vehicle's door panel and allows you to roll the windows up by pressing the 'LOCK' button twice on your key FOB remote.
1. YELLOW – 12VDC SWITCHED IGNITION
a. Connect this wire to a source that only reads 12 volts when the ignition
switch is on.
2. GREEN – DOOR LOCK SWITCH OUTPUT
a. Connect this wire to the output of the lock cylinder. This wire will read 5
volts until you turn the key in the lock cylinder to ‘lock.’ In the ‘lock’
position it will read ground.
NOTE: The Power Window Module must be plugged in for this wire to test correctly.
3. BLUE – DOOR LOCK MOTOR INPUT
a. Connect this wire to the wire that controls the door lock motor. This wire
will read ‘open leg’ (floating/No connection) until the door is locked.
Upon receiving a lock command from either the cylinder, the door lock
button, or the key fob this wire will read 12volts for a brief period.
NOTE: The door lock motor is controlled by the body control module. Therefore the
lock pulse is only about 0.3 seconds long. It is recommended to disable auto-ranging (if
applicable) on your meter in order to read this pulse accurately.
4. RED – 12VDC CONSTANT
a. Connect this wire to a constant 12 volt source.
5. BLACK – GROUND
a. Connect this wire to ground.
TESTING:
1. With windows down press the door lock button twice within 1 second. The
windows should go all the way up.
PROGRAMMING:
The ignition controlled door locking system is programmable.
To disable this feature:
Turn the ignition on and WAIT for the doors to lock. After they lock you have
approximately six seconds to push the lock button three times. The next time you turn
the ignition on the doors should not lock
To enable this feature:
Turn the ignition on and within approximately six seconds push the lock button three
times. The next time you turn the ignition on the doors should lock after six seconds.

Well i learned something new today. I bought the car with aftermarket alarm and it sadly doesn't allow the window roll down with the FOB but i just tried it with my key in the door and its so cool (the little things make me happy), front windows only. kinda pointless when your at the door and im pretty sure if my aftermarket alarm is armed and you unlock it with the key the alarm will go off. maybe ill test it out when not in my driveway.

holy schnikeys, i never knew about this. i had to run out to my car and see if it worked at 11pm and it did!
i noticed you can determine how low the windows goes down by when you release the button. you can just lower them a little or all the way.
i have a 2003 and it only does the front windows. pretty cool anyway. i love when i learn something new about my car.
