505 shipped for the 2.5 inch? You can get a Megan 2.5 inch exhaust with a dual tip muffler for 390 on eBay and even cheaper if you look in the right places.

In case anyone is wondering about BRM Exhaust... running WHOIS against the domain lists a guy named Greg Childs, who is listed as CEO over at NicoClub.com.

In other words, it certainly seems legit.

Good info so far, Clashez.

If you need a pics of it:

http://s139.photobucket.com/albums/q...ssan%20Maxima/

OP add this to the first post. I've been a bit lazy but I need to post a vid of it now broken in. I have the 3in Aluminized version.

BTW if you get this make sure you buy hose clamps for the bushings. It's a really tight fit around the rear axle.

I'm sure the single tip will look just like Custom Maxima's with BRM piping. Or you can look at the 240's single tip and get an idea.

No was holding off on it, til i got this other car. I'm ordering just the pipping kit tho and just go with my own reasonater and muffler combo

Then i'm going to take out the 3id out the auto and install it in the 6 speed. right now just a lot of opitions in the air one is even just doing a 6 speed swap in the auto, the body on the 6 speed is pretty beatin up.
so thats why i'm no big rush to get the BRM cat back, just trying to spread out the good word.

Exhaust tubing is measured by O.D. and Intake tubing is measured by I.D.! So apparently you have a 3.125" or 3.250" exhaust !!!!

I was puzzled at why this exhaust measured over 3". maybe around the bends it gets to 3" but the straight parts are a bit larger than 3".

So which is it?? a real 3" or a 3" with a larger OD?? would i have problems bolting up a 3" test pipe to it because of this?

The outside diameter could be about 3.250'' or more , when the exhaust guy mated the muffler he had to expaned the inlet of the muffler. To slip over the pipe cuz the pipe of the cat back just swallowd the inlet of the 3'' muffler.

should be fine because mine is bolted to the stock cat.

http://youtu.be/9FpXeE1ns94 This might be what it looks like...might as well go with dual tip so it doesn't look so flashy.

Yeah your right! My Cattman is 3" OD and your BRM has portion of their sections where it's over 3" cause it's expanded for a slip fit design....Sounds like some good (I.D.TEN"T" )engineering!

I don't know see this is the story i went to the exhaust shop told the guy i wanted an 3'' exhaust from the cat- back. He looked at me like i was crazy and said are you sure, we use that on trucks. I was like yea im sure . so he started to get it all togethier. When he got to the part were he was goin to weld on the muffler. The piping of the exhaust swollowed the inlet of the muffler. He said i thought you wanted a 3'' cat back, this muffler is 3''od. This set up i made for you car is 3''id, So he expanded the inlet to fit around the muffler.
