MAXIMA HEADLIGHT REMOVAL

hey guys i plan on taking my headlights out to paint them can anyone just give me the steps to take the headlights out i know how to paint them and do all that stuff just need to know which bolts i need to remove and stuff thank you

Take off the 2 10mm bolts on the top and pull forward, /thread.

Make sure you tape up/protect the paint on the bumper and the front quarterpanel. The light has a metal pin on the side that would love nothing more than to scratch the paint. A little painter's tape (blue masking) will solve these issues and leave no residue. Make sure you disconnect the negative battery terminal, since the HIDs have high voltage present otherwise.

Depends because my car has the anti-theft brackets on lights and bumper had to be removed like on the 6th gen max. Dealer used to put the brackets on when headlights where stolen(remember 5.5 gen where first cars with oem H.I.D)
