Air intake question

Alright, so I've been debating going from the stock air intake to a CAI or a pop charger. (2000 Max SE)

My question is what do I do with the sensors that are attached in the plastic of the stock intake? And if I just leave them hanging will it throw another code?

Thanks guys- Spence'

I have a Berk intake with Apexi filter. I left the factory air intake scoop in place which holds the air intake temp sensor and the map(boost) sensor. For the $205 price from Evasive Motorsports, I couldn't pass it up. Also from research I've done, the Apexi filter seems to be the best to get. It has the best airflow and filtration rates out of several others tested, and is a dry-flow so no risk of oil on the maf, and it's reusable as well. Apexi also sells the air filter in a pop charger as well, part number 500-A025. The filter has a built in bellmouth and the top of the filter is tapered to direct airflow inwards towards the bellmouth.

you can leave the snorkel in place with the sensor, or you can tie wrap it to the battery hold down.
