Watch these and you tell us what it's worth. The belts cost $8-20 each. In the first vid he changes the belt in 7 minutes and I believe he films it all but I'm not watching it. I know how. The second vid is the PowerSteering belt.

For the Airbag, dealership or certified body shop. Most mechanic shops aren't certified to do the install, and will turn you away.

Even the seatbelt, typically the same thing. And you should consider this a good thing, especially with the AB's...you want to know that the installer knew what he was doing, and could test all the circuits correctly.

I bet a dealership wouldn't even touch used bags...you'll probably have to find a good independent body shop.

That said, call around, get prices. That's the only way you'll know what the local install price is...

Be careful with airbags. If the sensor is damaged as soon as you hook it up it can deploy. The negative cable is suppose to be removed and let the car sit untouched for a half hour before anything airbag related is to be touched.

The airbags are like any other part on a car - there are certain things you have to watch out for. NAVY00MAXIMA outlined the airbag precautions. When you are working on your car and encounter a yellow wire harness connector, that is for the airbags.

Changing the seatbelt is a no-brainer. The only requirement is that you have the bolts tight.

And if you have basic mechanical abilities, you can change the serpintine belt. Being the first time, I'm sure it will take you more than 7 minutes.
