BC Coilovers installed

BC Coilovers installed
Just got my BC Coilovers done this morning, so far, looks good and it has a very good range of height adjustment. The car is about 25.5 inch from ground to fender all around, but still need to adjust the height again, it is not all even. Dampening set at 10 all around, and so far, the ride is pretty great, not harsh at all.
Here are some pics:
Have about 5.5 inch of ground clearance, just worry about scrapping now, I dare not go any lower here in NYC, may go back up a quarter of inch. Just curious as to how low other people are running with their coilover setup.

lol ^ yet? Gosh I hope mine don't vibrate when I install them next week. To the op looks clean. The dampening at 10 is from left to right or right to left? I know I've read the manual couple times still don't get it.

To set the dampening, turn it all the way to the right which is the hard setting, and that is set at 0. Each turn back counterclockwise is 1 level towards soft, so like for me, I turned it back 10 clicks.
Gonna do some more height and dampening adjustment before I get a wheel alignment.

Looks great and I love the color.
Offtopic question: How did you mount your front plate like that? Homemade bracket or JDM kit? I will be moving to NYC in the near future and I am dreading on drilling holes in my front bumper (no front plates here in PA).

Looks like everyone is jumping on BC coilovers now! I have to raise mine asap cause it is binding like crazy. Its very tempting to go low, but my stock exhaust is all beat up now and everything else under the car.

Uh, I think I may have a problem, the coilovers might have been installed incorrectly in the front, the camber plates are suppose to be parallel with the front of the car and not at an angle right? I'll get a pic up tomorrow.
I remember my mechanic had a hard time trying to get it aligned when he was installing it and the coilovers only fitted in with the camber plates facing at an angle outward. The L is on the L and the R on the R though.

BC's
Hey SunysB83 sorry to hear this has happened again. Don't hear about it much but I am going to send a note to my source and tell him it happened again. I love these coil overs, have have very good luck with them so far. I got mine the same way, figured out the camber plates were on the wrong side. They go on the opposite side. if you just swap them and they will be correct, at least that was my problem. Sounds exactly what happened to me. Let me know. Take care.

Ya, wish I knew better, so they're installed like this so far...
What's the correct way to fix this? Remove the camber plates from top and swap L to R, or can I just take the whole assembly and switch sides and then just unscrew the bottom part and switch it around?

I was thinking bout swapping sides, but I haven't opened my box again to check them out to see if they are like yours, but they definitely look wrong according to the pics. I hope the sides are swappable. But I'd wait for someone else that has experience with them handle this.

In order to fix it you'll have to pull both coilovers off, and then remove the allen screws and just swap the camber plates. Once mounted the slots are supposed to be pointing straight left-right instead of diagonally as they are now.

Oh yea they do match, I thought the camber plate was the only indication, I see where it says FL & FR. So I should be good to go. Thanks

Hopefully I can get it fixed correctly this weekend, so just remove the 4 allen nuts I can remove the whole camber upper mount, correct? I do not need to remove or compress the spring right?
Mine said the correct sides on the top and stickers too and apparently, it still did not fit correctly. Once you have your old suspension removed, just put in the coilover and see if it aligns correctly with the three top bolts, if not, guess you know now to switch em.

Hmmm...I looked at mine and it didnt look right as well out the box. However, I just spun the camber plate up top to make the slots go left to right, wonder if that did the trick? Wont know I guess till its installed.
Here it is now:
