Actually looks better than I thought it would. Installation was a breeze, insert the proper threading, screw onto the shifter and luckily, as tight as it would go fit the angle of my hand when I shift perfectly.

On the plus side, it definitely shortens the shifts without adding any noticeable effort. Fits perfectly in my hand and doesn't interfere with the reverse pull-up. The only real negative I can see is that I will probably have to drape a towel over it in the summer.

Part number is 153-0200 and you use the blue 10mm -1.25 insert, cost me $22.99 at Pep Boys.

If you notice my sig pic, the angle of the stock shift **** is the same as the Hurst so even with the stock shifter ****, it looked odd twisted like that but that's how it fit my hand the best.

omg, dude just put back the regular shifter and shift like the rest of us, I know it feels nice and all that jazz but omg that's so out of place and ugly and it's not straight and omg I could go on all day, I'm not trying to flame you, I'm just trying to help save you some embarrassment...

If I was walking in the arctic freezing to death and you pulled up next to me and said "hey man hope in, I have the heat at 82" & I got in and saw that, I would get right back out and walk till I died...

I thought this was a joke at first but omg....Your even making the rest of us look bad, Might as well throw on some 22" spinners, WRX wing, and make the front end look like an acura and be done with it...

Congrats on doing something ergonomically beneficial to yourself. Sure, it sticks out like a sore thumb to me, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Plus, I think you mentioned it also gives you a warm, nostalgic feeling.

Once you've used a good t-handle, it is hard to go back to anything else, no matter what you think of the looks.

Your stupidity makes us look bad, He posted on a forum for me to give a crap and it just so happens that I do and other people do to, that's why we posted it... I know it's HIS car as your genius points out to us, He said let the flaming begin like you stated so I'm just supposed to click on a link and not comment?!?!?

By you worrying about my run-on sentences and spelling while we are not in school and moving this conversation away from the original posters intent doesn't make you look smarter...

Holy crap! You actually followed through on that thing from a few weeks ago, and did it. Scott, you deserve this:

You may recall, I was the guy who also flipped out with the idea, missing the Hurst shifter from my youth. But I couldn't bring myself to do it, allowing that if it had to be done, I'd rather it be someone else. Based on these pictures here...

...boy am I glad you did it first. There's absolutely no way I would put that in my Maxima. No way, no how.

But I'm still impressed with your chutzpah. Enjoy it, brother.

Seriously, go ahead. Its like a fat chick, fun to ride (or in this case, fun to shift) until your friends see you.

You know, Scott... I'm thinking you could enjoy your T-handle shift **** all day long. And then, when you park the car, just toss one of your detailing microfiber towels over it. Find yourself a nice black one.

Problem solved.
