Black plug on top of manifold unplugged
I have a 2003 Nissan Maxima GLE and noticed a black plug is unplugged on the on top of the manifold underneath the cover should this be plugged in?

I noticed that was unplugged when I took the cover off to change the temperature control sensor

That black plug i noticed was unplugged when i took the cover off to change the temperature sensor and i plugged. It in but now im wondering why it was unplugged inn the first place and if it's suppose to be unplugged? Does anyone know?

Assuming you have the stock vias butterfly valve on your plenum, then yes it should be plugged in, unless the butterfly valve is faulty in which you will have poor acceleration through some gears & rpms.
